The invention relates to railway transport and concerns the construction of connecting passages between bodies of an articulated car. The purpose of the invention is to enhance the functionality by ensuring the mutual movement of the bodies and the carriage when passing uneven sections of the track.
Figure 1 schematically shows a section of a railway or tram car with a connecting passage according to the invention, a partial longitudinal section; in fig. 2 is a cut-away AA in FIG. in fig. 3 shows view B in FIG. in fig. 4 - the main elements of the proposed connecting passage in axonometry, general view. Two bodies of the railway or tram car are pivotally interconnected by a connecting passage 1. The floor of each of the bodies, indicated by the indices 2 and 3, has a corresponding narrowed end 4.5, hingedly connected to the central carriage 6, located under the connecting passage 1.
The connecting passage 1 is formed by a platform containing two end plates 7, 8 and an intermediate plate 9 located between them.
Each end plate 7, B has a T-shape with a rounded head in plan and consists of an inner rectangular section 10 connected to a wider section in the shape of a circular sector 11, the rounded edge of which 12 faces the end of the floor 2,3 of the corresponding body , which is given a corresponding rounded shape. In addition, each plate 7.8 is hingedly attached at a corresponding articulated end 4.5 with the help of three ball bearings 13 to 15 located at the vertices of an isosceles triangle. The intermediate plate 9 has a generally rectangular shape and is located between the bases of the portions 10 of the two end plates 7 and 8. The tops of the triangular plates, opposite the loops 25 and 26, are made with the corresponding protrusions 27 and 28, pivotally connected to the section 10 of the other plates 8 and 7, respectively, loops 29 and 30, similar to loops 25 and 26.
The connecting passage 1 is terminated by two side walls 31 and a roof (not shown), as well as flexible bridges 32 connecting the ends of the side walls 31 to each other with the walls of the two bodies.
In Fig. 2, the deepest platform formed by plates 7,8 and 9 for standing passengers is shown most clearly, on the sides and above which in the connecting passage 1 there are two rows of seats 33.
